The vast majority of our stall holders are full or part time dealers, in either books or postcards. We do let a few stalls to charities who sell donated books in aid of their funds and sometimes have the odd stall let to an individual (usually a devout 'book worm') who just wants to lessen their collection by selling off some surplus books.

All stalls must be booked and PAID FOR in advance by posting the Stall Holder Booking Form that is below.. Please state whether you will be selling books or postcards or a combination of both on your stall. Each stall roughly measures 7ft long x 2.5ft wide (2 school hall tables pushed together per stall), double and treble stalls are available for double or treble cost.

Having booked a stall, the doors are open to sellers at 8am and to the public at 10am. This means the stall holders have two hours in which to get their stock in and displayed on their stalls. The fair closes at 4pm

SELLERS MUST NOT PACK UP OR LEAVE THE PREMISES BEFORE 4PM.

Between 8.30am and 9.30am - during the setting up period - hot bacon butties with tea or coffee are available for a modest charge. After 10am home made refreshments and drinks are available in a separate room.

The Assembly Hall of Bedale School is ideal in that it is large, light and airy and there are NO STEPS anywhere. Dealers can wheel their stock in directly from the car park, through two sets of wide double doors, straight into the hall.
